Job Summary
Maersk is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse & Distribution Manager to oversee and optimize inventory, warehouse operations, and fulfillment activities. This role ensures efficient warehouse management, transportation coordination, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The position involves handling both bonded and non-bonded warehouses, overseeing operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Distribution Management
- Oversee inventory control, warehousing, and distribution processes for both bonded and non-bonded facilities.
- Manage profit & loss for the site, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Supervise middle-mile transportation and optimize site utilization.
- Expand Maersk’s business footprint while maintaining profitability.
- Ensure seamless site implementation and execution of warehouse & distribution (WND) strategies.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for cost optimization and efficiency.
- Drive Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) compliance at all operational levels.
- Ensure adherence to security and IT standards in warehouse operations.
- Manage subcontractor needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enforce governance frameworks and regulatory policies across the site.
Leadership & People Management
- Develop a skills matrix and implement training programs for staff.
- Foster a safe working environment for employees.
- Lead and manage high-performing teams to meet operational targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer-centric service delivery.
Required Qualifications
