Job Summary
Chem Chem Safari is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Inventory Control Officer to manage daily logistics operations. The role involves handling inventory control, purchasing, stock management, and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to optimize inventory accuracy and streamline warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Ensure all purchased items are recorded in the Inflow System for all departments.
- Update and maintain product lists and pricing in the Inflow System.
- Implement and monitor stock control procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages or unavailable items to management.
- Manage stock movements, transfers, and monthly stock valuation reports.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Assist in purchasing by requesting quotes, processing orders, and maintaining supplier relations.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to reorder supplies and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure proper documentation for all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, saving copies to Dropbox and updating the Operations Manager.
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly stock movement and valuation reports.
- Ensure warehouse and storerooms are well organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Monitor expiration dates of perishable goods and ensure older stock is used first.
- Continuously improve storekeeping systems and inventory management practices.
Required Qualifications

| Experience | 2 to 5 years in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in the hospitality industry |
| Technical Skills | Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) |
| Certifications | Certification in inventory management is an advantage |
| Soft Skills | Strong leadership, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills |
| Work Flexibility | Willingness to work flexible hours to support business demands |
