This role is pivotal in managing and growing a portfolio of clients and internal relationships, ensuring their needs are met while managing risk and contributing to revenue targets.
Role Overview
As the Vice President, you will oversee the entire client engagement value chain, ensuring that client needs are fulfilled and risks are managed effectively. You will act as a trusted advisor, influencing timelines and expectations, and coordinating client-centric solutions across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management: Manage and expand a portfolio of less complex clients, ensuring their needs are met and risk is managed effectively.
- Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, influencing and negotiating across departments to deliver client-centric solutions.
- Revenue Contribution: Contribute towards achieving defined revenue targets through exceptional client management.
- Risk Management: Fulfil the role of “first line of defence” in risk management, ensuring comprehensive risk mitigation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: First Degree in Business Commerce or a related field.
Experience Required:
- Relationship Management: 5-7 years of experience in managing client relationships and conducting detailed financial or valuation analysis.
- Client Coverage: Demonstrated track record in client coverage, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions.
- Cross-Functional Teams: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams to drive client-centric solutions and grow portfolio revenue.
- Risk Management: Experience in risk management and fulfilling the role of “first line of defence”.
- Senior Client Engagement: Experience in leading client engagements at senior management and executive levels.
