Job Summary

CMS (Tanzania) Limited, a highly respected mineral exploration drilling company, is seeking a Site Administrator to join our dynamic team at the Nyanzaga site. This role is essential in managing administrative operations, personnel records, payroll coordination, and staff welfare while ensuring compliance with safety and labor regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience in office administration, and a good understanding of Tanzania’s labor laws. This position provides an opportunity to work in a multinational and culturally diverse environment while contributing to the growth of the mining sector in Tanzania.


Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative & Personnel Records Management

  • Maintain accurate staff files, including personnel records and employment contracts.
  • Ensure all employee documentation is up to date and compliant with local labor regulations.

2. Payroll & Attendance Coordination

  • Ensure timely submission of timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Monitor staff attendance, manage leave applications, and support disciplinary processes.

3. Staff Welfare & Compliance

  • Communicate site-related issues to the Project Manager.
  • Support staff welfare programs, including medical and life insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols.

4. Travel & Induction Support

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for site staff and visitors.
  • Conduct employee inductions and ensure onboarding processes are completed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in an office administration role, preferably within the drilling or mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzania Labor Laws is highly recommended.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Swahili (written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience working in a multinational and culturally diverse environment.
