Job Summary
SICPA is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator – IT Service Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd level technical support, ensuring efficient system operations. The role includes troubleshooting, system maintenance, security management, and collaboration with global teams to optimize IT infrastructure.
As the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers, the Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining servers, deploying applications, supporting field operations, and managing IT vendor contracts.
Key Responsibilities
IT System Administration & Support
- Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Manage and maintain servers and applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform daily system maintenance, troubleshooting, and backups.
- Configure and operate system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Puppet, Splunk.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure security maintenance aligns with SICPA’s global policies.
- Administer LDAP, user access controls, and system security configurations.
- Maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and support SLA enforcement.
Infrastructure & Performance Management
- Monitor IT systems, analyze performance issues, and provide reports on system health.
- Perform capacity planning, system patching, and upgrades.
- Oversee IT vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with global IT teams to ensure system efficiency.
- Maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT assets.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Qualifications

| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field |
| Experience | Minimum of 3+ years in system administration, preferably in a data center or IT service environment |
| Technical Skills | Experience with RHEL, Windows Server & Client, VMware, SAN, and networking |
| Certifications | RedHat Certification preferred; CISCO, Automation, and Containerization certifications are a plus |
| IT Knowledge | ITIL best practices, system architecture design, and high-availability environments |
| Language Skills | Fluent in English and the local language |
