Job Summary
Equity Bank is looking for a highly analytical Senior Business Analyst Officer to bridge business needs with technology solutions. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with IT teams to implement technology-driven improvements that enhance efficiency and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology-based improvements.
- Develop business process models using BPMN, UML, and flowcharts.
IT Collaboration & Implementation Support
- Work closely with developers and IT teams to ensure system solutions align with business needs.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to facilitate smooth implementation and adoption of new technologies.
- Support data-driven decision-making and evaluate system performance for continuous improvement.
End-User Support & Quality Assurance
- Assist end-users in adapting to new systems and tools through training and documentation.
- Ensure best practices in quality assurance are followed for all implemented solutions.
- Develop detailed requirement documents such as User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
Required Qualifications & Experience

| Technical Knowledge | Understanding of databases, APIs, and system architecture |
| Certifications (Preferred) | Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) |
| Experience | 2–5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role |
| Skills | System analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder relationship management |
| Analytical Skills | Strong numerical skills with an understanding of statistics |
