Role Overview
Position: Sales Manager
Location: Four Seasons Serengeti / Arusha
As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving bookings and fostering relationships with clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales and Client Relations: Make telephone and personal sales calls to build and maintain relationships with clients and DMCs.
- Account Management: Develop annual account plans, monitor budgetary goals, and achieve personal targets.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.
- Professional Standards: Maintain a professional appearance and behavior, demonstrating warmth and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Calls: Conduct daily face-to-face sales calls and solicit business as per the marketing plan.
- Client Interaction: Negotiate with clients to maximize revenue while meeting their needs.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to covered markets and participate in familiarization visits.
- Data Management: Keep up-to-date records and provide regular reports on performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Hotel Management or Marketing studies preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years in direct sales with a luxury hotel operator or similar travel service.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain effective correspondence.
