SBL’s flagship brand is Serengeti Premium Lager, with a portfolio that includes Guinness, Pilsner, and international brands like Johnnie Walker®, Smirnoff Vodka®, and Bailey’s®.
Role Purpose
- Provide leadership in developing maintenance strategies
- Improve equipment effectiveness and maintainability
- Prevent equipment failures
- Drive performance and reliability across teams
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards
- Integrate MMS Asset Care practices in Tier 1 operations
- Support and execute weekly maintenance schedules
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Coach teams in Asset Care practices
- Manage maintenance budgets
- Optimize Mean Time to Repair and inventory levels
- Oversee technical skill development across shifts
- Work with Project Engineers for equipment reliability and retrofit
- Monitor equipment condition and ensure lifecycle achievement
- Embed quality and food safety practices in daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical & Processing Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in an operational environment
- IBD certification (General Certificate in Spirits/Beer Packaging) or willingness to complete
