ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) is an affiliate member of the ActionAid International Federation, a global force working to end poverty and injustice. AATZ has been operating in Tanzania since 1998 and has implemented several strategies contributing to the overall development of the country.

Job Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective management and coordination of the Bright Future Project, working closely with key stakeholders, including communities living with albinism, government agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and other relevant actors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the project, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Support generation of evidence for policy advocacy.
- Develop monitoring tools and oversee project monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Document project progress and outcomes.
- Manage financial aspects, including developing financial policies and working with the finance team.
- Support resource mobilization efforts, including developing proposals, networking, and strategizing for funding.
- Strengthen movement building and solidarity in addressing issues faced by communities with albinism.
- Develop strategies aligned with ActionAid Tanzania’s mission.
- Ensure the project follows the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) and build the capacity of partners and young people accordingly.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the NGO/INGO sector.
- Strong resource mobilization skills.
- Excellent communication and public relations abilities.
- Networking and stakeholder management experience.
- Advocacy and lobbying skills, particularly in working with CSOs.
- Community mobilization and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA).
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning expertise.
Education Requirements
- University degree or advanced diploma in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or Project Management.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
