Job Summary
Vodacom Tanzania is seeking a skilled PR & Communications Specialist to support media relations, corporate content creation, and external communications. The role plays a key part in positioning Vodacom as a purpose-led organization, enhancing brand visibility, and managing public relations activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Vodacom Tanzania Foundation (VTF) and other External Affairs projects, ensuring effective communication strategies and content development.
Key Responsibilities
Media & Public Relations
- Develop and manage media relations strategies to enhance Vodacom’s public image.
- Prepare communication materials, including press releases, speeches, and media kits.
- Oversee media engagements and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media houses.
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for key projects and campaigns.
Corporate Content Development
- Create and manage corporate communication materials, including audio-visual content.
- Maintain a corporate social media calendar for Vodacom Tanzania Foundation (VTF) and other related initiatives, such as Vodacom Digital Accelerator and Future Ready Summit.
- Support external communication efforts of the Vodacom Tanzania Foundation.
Project & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing public relations campaigns for Vodacom’s initiatives.
- Ensure all communications align with Vodacom’s branding and corporate messaging.
Required Qualifications & Skills
