ABOUT US
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child, but we know this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination—especially for girls.
Working alongside children, young people, supporters, and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges faced by girls and vulnerable children. Our work supports children’s rights from birth through adulthood, empowering them to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We also advocate for changes in practice and policy at local, national, and global levels.
With over 85 years of experience in more than 80 countries, Plan International works relentlessly to transform the lives of children around the globe.
