POSITION OBJECTIVE

As a CSIS Security Officer, your main responsibility will be to assist in managing and coordinating security and safety services for all Citi businesses. The goal of the position is to maintain a safe environment for clients and employees, protect company assets, and respond effectively to security incidents while safeguarding Citi’s integrity and reputation. You will ensure the local security program aligns with Citi Security Policy, standards, and business and legal requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily security functions at Citi facilities or occupied properties assigned by the Area Security Manager.
• Lead security and safety activities, safeguarding premises and employees from unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and other risks.
• Enforce security rules and safety standards, review security-related issues, and implement corrective measures to reduce exposure to risk.
• Participate in training, operational readiness exercises, and security system drills to ensure preparedness.
• Manage and report any issues with CSIS systems and equipment, ensuring readiness for internal or external audits.
• Collaborate with various business units, applying subject matter expertise in physical security, crisis management, event security, and vendor management.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and sound ethical judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience:
  5+ years in security management (corporate, regulatory, consultancy, or law enforcement) or banking operations in an audit, controls, risk, or compliance role. Crisis management experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge:
  Understanding of security operations, processes, controls, local laws, and facility-level security program design.
• Skills:
  Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and fluency in a local language. Ability to multitask, prioritize security incidents, and travel at short notice.
• Additional:
  Experience managing security risks and geo-political threats. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). A professional security qualification or certification will be an advantage.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent vocational training programs.
• Professional security qualification or certification is a plus.
