Job Overview

As a Financial Controller at Bakhresa Group, you will collaborate with business units to oversee and manage the company’s financial performance. You will drive business towards achieving targets and operational KPIs while linking business decisions to financial impacts.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Financial Insights: Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
• Controls, Compliance & Assurance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and maintain internal control standards.
• Reporting & Process Efficiencies: Streamline reporting processes and improve financial efficiency.
• Capability Building: Develop financial capabilities within the organization through training and development programs.

• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Flexible mindset with the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
• Knowledge of banking and treasury functions is an added advantage.
• Understanding of business operations beyond finance.
• Sound knowledge of the manufacturing industry, particularly FMCG.
• Experience in managing change management projects.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in team settings.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Approximately 10 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing setup, ideally within FMCG.
• Experience in Sales/Commercial Finance and FP&A roles.
• Knowledge of OTC and SAP modules is preferred.
