Job Summary
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is seeking a Major Capital Project Administration Controller to ensure effective project governance and financial control. The role involves implementing financial controls, managing project costs and forecasts, and providing high-quality financial reports to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Project Financial & Cost Management
- Implement and maintain financial governance tools and guidelines.
- Establish and manage cost control and forecast schedules.
- Support the Project Finance Manager and Director in ensuring project completion within budget and scope.
Procurement & Payments
- Generate and process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs).
- Expedite POs to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee project expenditure and ensure proper allocation of costs.
- Facilitate and track project-related payments.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Maintain project-related budgets and provide financial insights.
- Track and report project expenditure, cost trends, and financial forecasts.
- Communicate financial reports effectively to the project team.
Project Administration & Compliance
- Oversee campsite administration related to invoicing and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of project-related transactions and assets.
- Ensure compliance with SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) policies.
Support & Asset Management
- Assist in financial administration and asset tracking.
- Arrange for capitalization of project assets and maintain asset registers.
- Provide administrative support to the employer’s team on financial matters.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Skills
- Diploma in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
- Experience in budget control, financial reporting, and project administration.
- Knowledge of financial systems (SAP), procurement, and payment processing.
- Strong financial and business acumen, preferably with project experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
