Job Purpose

DCB Commercial Bank is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Solidarity Group Lending Officer. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, decisive, and have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in microcredit projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Grow a quality asset portfolio and liabilities through customer retention and acquisition.
• Identify potential areas for new centre openings and meet performance targets in line with budget.
• Ensure customer complaints are logged, tracked, and resolved promptly.
• Build strong customer relationships to support portfolio monitoring and control.
• Manage and implement all bank processes and procedures as per policies and manuals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Certification/Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Understanding of economic activities and consumer behavior in the microlending space.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
