Responsibilities

1. Roll Outs and Installations & Commissioning

  • Develop ODU/ONU installation organization in line with sales clusters
  • Maintain a database of all installed ODUs/ONUs with customer info and locations
  • Ensure SLAs are met: 3 hours for installation, 4 hours for relocation/recovery, 2 hours for repairs
  • Design route plans and conduct daily gate meetings with installer supervisors

2. Logistics and Project Management

  • Establish and enforce departmental processes
  • Manage CWIP to ensure equipment is not obsolete
  • Implement process for ODU/ONU recovery and redeployment

3. Regulatory and Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure all installers are equipped with KYC kits and toolboxes
  • Maintain regulatory documentation
  • Track routers leased to customers and ensure compliance

4. Partner and Supply Chain Management

  • Ensure stock availability and reconcile stock issues
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on procurement of equipment
  • Manage service provider and vendor performance
  • Coordinate warehousing and dispatching of installation equipment
  • Track and follow up on equipment delivery

5. Installer Team Management

  • Ensure timely and fair payouts to team members
  • Conduct training and certification for installers
  • Evaluate contractor performance and take corrective actions

Qualifications

  • University degree in Telecom Engineering, Networks, Technical or Electrical Engineering
  • Project Management certification is an advantage
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a technical telecom/DTH/ISP role
  • Understanding of telecom landscape, regulations, and technologies
  • IT literacy and business education is a plus
  • Strong leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills
  • Experience in building and managing teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
