Job Summary

Ramada Resort Hotel is seeking a highly motivated Housekeeping Manager to oversee and maintain the highest cleanliness and service standards. The successful candidate will manage housekeeping operations, supervise the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, and lead a high-performing team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead, supervise, and train the housekeeping team to ensure excellence in performance.
• Provide clear instructions and delegate housekeeping tasks efficiently.
• Conduct regular training programs to maintain high service and safety standards.

Guest Room & Public Area Management

• Ensure all guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms meet luxury cleanliness standards.
• Maintain immaculate public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

Quality Control & Inspections

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Address guest feedback promptly and take corrective action when necessary.

Inventory & Budget Management

• Manage housekeeping inventory, ensuring efficient use of supplies.
• Assist in departmental budgeting and implement cost-saving measures.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and materials.

Guest Satisfaction

• Address guest complaints or special housekeeping requests professionally.
• Implement service excellence strategies to enhance guest experience.

Collaboration with Other Departments

• Coordinate with front office, maintenance, and F&B teams for smooth operations.
• Assist with housekeeping needs for events, VIP guests, and special requests.

Sustainability & Environmental Practices

• Promote eco-friendly housekeeping initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to hotel sustainability standards.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain housekeeping records, including inventory usage and guest feedback.
• Submit operational reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping within a luxury or five-star hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with staff, guests, and management.
• In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, inventory control, and safety regulations.
• Physical stamina to perform operational duties.

Education

• A degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
