About the Location
Join us deep in the heart of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, where the Big Five roam freely. Perched on elevated platforms and walkways, our Lodge overlooks an animal watering hole. The Serengeti Lodge features 77 rooms, including 12 suites and 5 villas, three dining venues, a Discovery Centre, spa, fitness center, and the Kijana Kids Club.
About the Role
The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the housekeeping department by overseeing cleanliness standards, employee training, and daily execution of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations
- Support the Director and Assistant Housekeeping Managers
- Monitor Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment
- Train staff on equipment and chemical handling
- Implement general cleaning programs for public areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a nine-hour shift (rotating schedule based on business needs)
