Job Overview
As part of a movement to mature our ministry’s Change Management capability, the Global Change Manager III brings energy, passion, and a global perspective to strengthen Compassion’s international change management practices. This role involves serving as a Change Manager on key projects and initiatives, promoting global change capabilities, and acting as a trusted partner for Compassion’s global workforce and partners. The position advocates for change awareness, adoption, and retention, all while upholding Compassion’s ministry values.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for His teachings, demonstrating a courteous, Christ-like attitude in all interactions.
- Advocate for child protection by prioritizing the needs of children and adhering to Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct.
- Uphold Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors and take coaching from a Senior Change Manager to deepen your knowledge of effective Change Management methodologies, including Compassion’s AGAPE model.
- Partner with the Senior Change Manager to build change capabilities across project teams, stakeholders, and Compassion leadership.
- Listen to and build trusted relationships bridging the US-based and international teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate Change Management into project planning, execution, and reporting using Compassion’s internal methodology and tools.
- Leverage best practices in change management to develop cases for change, analyze stakeholders, plan and communicate engagements, assess impact, and align the organization around key projects.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and points of resistance, developing trusted relationships and effective solutions.
- Work closely with Project Management, Communications, and Learning Services to deliver an integrated experience across strategic initiatives.
- Bring cross-cultural insights from Compassion’s global workforce, collaborating with key stakeholders across regions.
- Serve as a thought leader by proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Continuously improve Compassion’s change management methodology in partnership with key stakeholders.
What Do You Bring?
- A global perspective on Change Management methodologies, tools, and practices.
- At least 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in business change, process improvement, communications, and project oversight.
- Over 10 years of professional work experience.
- Willingness to flex work hours to accommodate global partnerships, including overlapping approximately 3-4 hours with standard United States Mountain Time (8am-5pm).
- Strong cross-cultural interaction and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through influence and collaboration, with an understanding of the impact of change initiatives on work capacity and staff.
- A high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Fluency in English.
- Relevant Change Management certification (e.g., CCMP, PROSCI) is preferred.
