Job Summary

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is hiring a General Maintenance Level 2 technician to provide maintenance and repair services for hotel equipment, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, fire safety, HVAC, laundry, and kitchen systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, comply with safety regulations, and respond promptly to maintenance requests to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment and maintain records.
• Operate and maintain essential systems such as generators, RO plants, and STP systems.
• Repair motors, starters, breakers, chillers, pumps, and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory for engineering operations.

Guest Service & Emergency Response

• Respond to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas.
• Handle emergency situations such as power failures and fire incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness in engineering workstations, grease traps, and plumbing systems.

General Engineering & Installations

• Support installation and relocation of equipment.
• Assist in energy conservation programs and electrical/mechanical system installations.
• Maintain electrical setups for exhibitions and special projects.

Professional Conduct & Safety Compliance

• Adhere to Four Seasons’ health & safety policies and attend mandatory training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow company work rules and standards.
• Report work schedules and absences as per company guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• High school diploma, trade school, or vocational certificate in maintenance-related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, and generator operations.
• Ability to operate computer equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
