Job Function

Optimize the process flow of general Cargo/Bulk/RoRo Terminal and other goods between land and sea transport by increasing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise personnel under your command.
Participate in vessel berthing schedules and quay planning as required.
Set operational priorities and make decisions on stopping and restarting operations while adhering to safety regulations.
Monitor vessel operations on-site and ensure compliance with terminal policies.
Supervise handling of heavy lift or oversize cargoes in the terminal.
Maximize equipment usage to enhance productivity in quay and vessel operations.
Oversee landside operations when a vessel is in working mode.
Analyze productivity metrics and ensure operations meet required standards.
Maintain personnel availability and manage work schedules.
Ensure safety compliance and proper positioning of cranes during operations.
Monitor cargo handling efficiency and ensure smooth gate movements.
Generate and report accident and damage incidents.
Liaise with vessel officers and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications Required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Certification: Rigging and lifting certification (preferred).

Experience and Skills Required

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in terminal operations.
Knowledge of safety procedures and terminal activities.
Familiarity with rigging plans and lifting principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Time management and quality control expertise.
