Job Summary

Altezza Travelling Limited, a leading travel company specializing in personalized travel experiences, is looking for a Garage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its vehicle maintenance division. The successful candidate will manage a team of mechanics and support staff, ensuring vehicles are serviced and repaired efficiently, safely, and according to the highest industry standards.

The Garage Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Garage Operations & Maintenance

Supervise and coordinate automobile mechanics involved in vehicle repair, maintenance, and servicing.
Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to determine necessary repairs.
Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of company vehicles for optimal performance.

2. Team Management & Leadership

Oversee the daily activities of the mechanics and support staff.
Evaluate staff performance and provide necessary training.
Ensure safety protocols are followed in the garage.

3. Quality Control & Inspection

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to verify the quality of repairs.
Test-drive repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

4. Inventory & Supplier Coordination

Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary replacement parts.
Ensure all purchases adhere to the company’s quality standards and budget.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain repair records and service reports for all vehicles.
Prepare and submit vehicle maintenance reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Proven supervisory experience in an automotive repair or maintenance environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle repair, servicing, and troubleshooting.
Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and train a team of mechanics.
Organizational Skills: Strong inventory management and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with supplier coordination and procurement processes.
