Position Overview:
Alistair Group is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring that trucks arrive at their destinations safely and efficiently. The Fleet Coordinator will monitor the location of trucks using GPS, track the fleet’s performance, and recover stolen vehicles when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record truck location and status using GPS systems.
  • Communicate issues affecting the efficient transit of cargo to operations and support staff.
  • Track the fleet’s performance and ensure safe transportation.
  • Ensure that the vehicles are being used efficiently and safely.

Required Skills:

  • Clear communication skills to convey candid information.
  • Computer literacy to operate and manage online systems effectively.
  • Faultless administration skills for accurate procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline (Transport/Logistics service support).
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
  • IT Literacy is required.
