Job Overview

ALAF is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components such as motors, switches, sensors, and control panels.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify electrical needs for new projects or upgrades.
• Participate in PM activities at MCL, CRM, and CCL during SSD when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all tasks.
• Execute scheduled shutdown (SSD) planned PMs.
• Conduct switchgear safety tests and maintain substation meter readings.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns.
• Document maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
• Engage in training to keep up with evolving technologies and practices.
• Report all accidents and near-misses, ensuring EHS compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Good communication and interdepartmental collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle emergency maintenance.
