About the Role
As a Fiscal Policy Advisor, you will be instrumental in supporting the Ministry of Finance (MoF) within the GFG project’s Revenue Mobilization component. Your role will involve strategic planning, providing technical advice, and coordinating activities to enhance fiscal policy and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation: Execute activities according to operational plans established with the MoF. Provide expert advice on tax policy and fiscal reforms in line with international standards.
- Expert Supervision: Oversee short-term expert assignments to ensure high-quality and integrated results.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Contribute to the project’s monitoring, evaluation, communication, and reporting efforts.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Advanced degree in public administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of public finance management, tax policy, and fiscal policy.
- Proven track record in advising on strategy and supporting budgetary adjustments.
- Familiarity with international fiscal norms and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with international partners and government organizations.
