Job Summary

The Customer Experience Executive is responsible for driving exceptional operational performance through efficient business management, leadership, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

Sales (20%)

  • Build relationships with customers to anticipate and address future needs.
  • Cross-sell relevant products to customers.
  • Assist customers with banking forms and account management.
  • Support the branch manager in local community engagement activities.
  • Ensure the banking hall is well-maintained and customer service is optimized.

Customer Service (60%)

  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure all customer service points operate at the highest standard.
  • Oversee counter service, authorizing transactions when needed.
  • Monitor service delivery through queue management.

Administration (5%)

  • Maintain and oversee branch system operations.
  • Report on service delivery and operational efficiency.

Team Contribution (10%)

  • Provide support to the Branch Operations Manager when necessary.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Risk and Control

  • Act as a crisis coordinator in case of operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with ABSA’s risk and compliance policies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in banking or business management.
  • Strong understanding of banking policies and risk management.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of banking software (Brains, Winfos).
  • Experience in sales, customer service, and performance management.
