Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst will act as a catalyst to influence decision-making within the bank. This role involves working with large data volumes, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to predict future outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to uncover patterns and insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide valuable data, enriching insights on trends and behaviors.
- Procure, prepare, cleanse, and model data utilizing machine learning models and new analytical methods.
- Prepare data reports, present findings to stakeholders, and support decision-making.
- Use advanced mathematical and statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets.
- Develop machine learning models for prediction and personalization, embedding this approach in the bank’s financial operations.
- Create visual reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers for the bank.
- Work closely with the data science team to design experiments, research new algorithms, and find new data sources.
- Ensure the bank stays up to date with the latest technologies, techniques, and methods in AI and data analysis.
- Serve as a central reference point for all new product developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
- Proficiency in widely used programming languages.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning methodologies.
- Familiarity with banking products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and a good team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and other professionals.
- Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire others.
- Honesty, integrity, and creativity.
