Job Description

Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity in its Logistics department. We are seeking a talented individual with the right skills and experience for the position of Distribution Driver, based in Dar es Salaam.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Distribution Team Leader and will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary Distribution: Haul bulk stock between Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres / Local Distribution Partners and OCCD’s.
• Secondary Distribution: Deliver stock to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD’s.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and efficient service to both internal and external customers.
• Invoicing: Conduct and compile necessary invoicing, ensuring all delivery documents are correct and checked.
• Accountability: Take full responsibility for the allocated truck, mobile device, stock, and pallets.
• Coordination: Coordinate and receive customer invoices.
• Stock Management: Perform daily stock counts accurately and promptly.
• Security Compliance: Adhere to security checks and procedures.
• Crew Management: Supervise the crew on the truck.
• Legal Compliance: Abide by the country’s traffic laws and regulations.
• Safety Standards: Comply with company safety standards, ensuring no fatalities.
• Load Settlement: Settle loads after every delivery.

Skills, Experience & Education

Applicants should have at least Secondary Education (Form IV), a valid and applicable driver’s license, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles is required. The candidate should be prepared to work fixed shifts at specific times of the day or days of the week. A high level of integrity and professionalism is essential.
