Role of the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors governs CRDB Bank by formulating policies and objectives in collaboration with the Managing Director. The Board ensures:
- Protection of Bank Assets & Reputation: Implementing policies to safeguard the Bank’s interests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to all banking laws and best practices.
- Technology & Systems Integration: Utilizing advanced systems to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
- Risk Management & Shareholder Value: Monitoring and managing risks to ensure long-term value for shareholders.
Available Board Positions
CRDB Bank Plc invites applications for the following five (5) Board Member positions:

These Board Members will be elected by shareholders, with the Independent Board Member elected by all shareholders.
Eligibility & Expertise Required
Educational & Professional Background
As per the Banking and Financial Institutions (Corporate Governance) Regulations, 2021, candidates must have expertise in at least one of the following fields:
- Banking, Finance, or Economics
- Accounting or Auditing
- Law
Desired Skills & Experience
CRDB Bank seeks Board Members with specialized knowledge in:
- Data Science & Cyber Security
- Law & Corporate Governance
- Accounting & Auditing
- Engineering & Infrastructure
- Information Technology (Software Engineering, Systems, Technology)
- Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Sustainability
- Human Resources & Leadership
- Insurance & Risk Management
- Board Experience: Minimum of three (3) years serving on a corporate board
