Job Overview
Smollan is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of GA Operations Project Manager. The individual will be responsible for managing sales operations, project management, client relationships, and administrative tasks. This role involves ensuring effective implementation of sales strategies, managing project resources, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Operational Excellence:
Develop and maintain sales operational excellence, policies, and procedures including standard operating procedures.
Create and analyze sales operational reports and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that accurate information is recorded and quality checked, taking corrective actions when necessary. - Project Management:
Provide input into planning and develop processes to ensure the effective implementation of sales projects.
Formulate and implement project plans to achieve objectives and monitor the quality of work produced by field staff.
Manage sales projects and provide regular feedback to the Business Unit Manager/Country Manager. - Account Management Alignment:
Manage multiple clients according to the cluster/regional client list.
Demonstrate analytical planning and creativity for client retention and development.
Address and follow up on customer queries and issues while meeting performance standards. - Administration & Budget Monitoring:
Develop effective administrative systems and manage operating expenses such as salaries and travel costs.
Ensure compliance with regulations between field teams and distributors.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective methods to achieve results. - Achievement of Sales & Distribution Objectives:
Develop and implement strategic sales distribution plans and programs.
Monitor sales performance, ensuring agreed targets are achieved and providing feedback to the cluster executive.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree in Sales & Marketing.
- Business experience in sales, marketing, project management, and client interaction.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office skills).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of sales, business, and distribution channels.
