Role Overview
As the PR Manager for Tanzania, you will:
- Own Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, handle media inquiries, and manage press events.
- Collaborate on Campaigns: Work with the marketing and social media teams to execute integrated PR campaigns.
- Address Public Policy Issues: Partner with the Public Policy team on key regulatory matters in Tanzania.
- Manage Crises: Handle communication crises effectively when they arise.
- Train Spokespeople: Prepare Bolt representatives for media engagements and public events.
- Support Brand Activities: Contribute to various brand-related initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for PR and Shared Mobility: A deep interest in how shared mobility can transform urban environments.
- Experience: At least 3 years in PR with a strong network of journalists.
- Multilingual Skills: Fluent in English and Swahili, with additional languages being a plus.
- Strategic Approach: Proven ability to develop and execute PR strategies and manage long-term narratives.
- Project Management: Excellent skills in managing projects and reporting.
- Team Player: Experience working with international teams and handling public policy issues is a plus.
