Key Responsibilities
As a Loan Officer at TEVI Microfinance, you will:
- Drive Sales: Promote and sell company products to existing and potential clients to achieve sales targets.
- Process Loan Applications: Evaluate and process group loan applications in accordance with company requirements.
- Conduct Visits: Perform business and home visits to assess creditworthiness and loan repayment capabilities.
- Monitor Performance: Closely monitor client performance post-loan disbursement to ensure timely repayment.
- Manage Delinquencies: Follow up on delinquent accounts and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio.
- Report Preparation: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the supervisor.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Experience Required
- Educational Background: Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience in microfinance, particularly in group lending operations.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of micro and small business analysis.
- Skills: Excellent mathematical and communication skills.
