Key Responsibilities

As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing Camp Operations: Manage all aspects of camp operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
• Staff Management: Lead and mentor camp staff to ensure high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
• Budget Management: Ensure the camp operates within its budget and adheres to Asilia’s sustainability standards.
• Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and care.
• Coordination with Head Office: Ensure smooth operations and effective communication with the head office.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a similar managerial position within the hospitality industry, preferably in a safari camp or lodge.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sustainable Tourism Knowledge: A deep understanding of sustainable tourism practices.
• Passion for Wildlife: A genuine passion for wildlife and conservation.
