Role Overview

Position: Interim Deputy Company Secretary
Location: Global Hub (Work from a Plan International office in any listed location)
Type: Fixed term – September 2024 to February 2025
Salary: Competitive, varies by location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance Support: Provide crucial support to the Leadership Team and its associated bodies.
  • Board Assistance: Collaborate with the Company Secretary and fellow Deputy Company Secretary to support Plan International’s governing bodies, including the International Board and Members’ Assembly.
  • Administration: Deliver effective company administration and secretariat services, including planning and attending a key meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in January 2025.

Key Requirements:

  • Corporate Governance Knowledge: Understanding of corporate governance principles and experience supporting decision-making bodies.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong corporate administration and project management capabilities.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with Board members, staff, and senior managers.
  • Judgment and Compliance: Awareness of compliance and governance issues, with high levels of discretion and diplomacy.
