Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical training for undergraduate programs.
2. Conduct and publish/disseminate research results.
3. Perform library work and provide information services.
4. Mentor junior staff.
5. Recognize students facing challenges, intervene, and offer support.
6. Participate in consultancy and community services.
7. Supervise field practicals, undergraduate projects, as well as Masters and PhD dissertations/theses.
8. Attend workshops, conferences, and symposia.
9. Perform any other duties assigned by relevant authorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD and Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science/Information Science/Information Studies with a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 at the Master’s level.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science/Information Science/Information Studies/Records Management with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5.0.
