Job Overview

Mkombozi Commercial Bank is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Internal Auditor Manager to lead internal audits, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with established policies. The role demands a candidate who holds a degree in accounting or finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct periodic internal audits on financial matters.
• Follow up on the implementation of recommendations and directions provided by the Board of Directors.
• Appraise the quality of performance across the organization.
• Prepare and execute annual audit plans.
• Review the adequacy and effectiveness of audit programs.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate internal controls and risk management evaluations.
• Review audit procedures and working papers.
• Follow up on internal and external audit queries.
• Supervise and guide audit staff effectively.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: University Degree or Advanced Diploma majoring in Accounting/Finance.
• Professional Qualification: Certified Public Accountant, CPA (T).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in relevant fields.
