Job Summary

Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL), a subsidiary of Diageo, is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its finance team. The role involves managing vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, reconciling accounts, and handling vendor payments. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, SAP knowledge, and experience in finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice & Payment Processing

Receive vendor invoices and perform quality checks (PO, EFD receipt, TIN, VRN).
Identify invoice discrepancies and escalate to vendors or procurement teams.
Apply appropriate tax codes (WHT, VAT, Zero-rated) to invoices.
Scan and send invoices that meet tax and PTP governance requirements.

Reconciliation & Compliance

Reconcile processed invoices with the Invoice Processing Team.
Maintain accurate records and an audit trail to meet regulatory compliance.
Ensure proper document management in alignment with SBL policies.

Vendor & Treasury Management

Print and process treasury payment instructions for banks.
Manage supplier financing payments and coordinate with Citi Bank.
Address vendor payment issues in collaboration with DBSI and procurement.
Support treasury operations in managing vendor payments.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in customer-facing finance or accounting roles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Highly proficient in SAP and financial systems.
Understanding of Diageo Global processes (STP & Data) is an added advantage.
