Job Summary

TANROADS is seeking a qualified Topographic Surveyor to support the Simiyu Bridge and Approach Road Construction Project. The ideal candidate will conduct surveys, prepare maps and reports, and ensure accurate measurements for road and bridge construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveying activities.
• Review survey data, including measurements and calculations, for accuracy.
• Identify and locate beacons and benchmarks to guide construction works.
• Conduct surveys to establish legal property boundaries.
• Record survey results, including location, shape, contour, and dimensions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on project requirements.
• Adjust and calibrate surveying instruments for precise data collection.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
✔ Professional Registration: Must be registered as a Professional Land Surveyor with NCPS.
✔ Experience: At least 5 years of experience in surveying for road and bridge construction.
✔ Language: Fluency in Swahili and English (both written and spoken).
✔ Added Advantage: Postgraduate qualifications in surveying.
