Job Summary
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is looking for a Grower Business Systems Manager to oversee and implement agricultural business systems for effective data analysis. The role focuses on planning, forecasting, and reporting systems while ensuring accurate business metrics through Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Key Responsibilities
✔ Business Systems Management
- Coordinate installation and integration of agriculture business systems (e.g., CanePro).
- Implement GIS systems for grower registration, land mapping, and asset management.
- Develop accurate reports on agriculture trends, production plans, and workforce statistics.
✔ Data & Reporting
- Build standardized reports within required timeframes.
- Streamline agricultural business systems for efficiency and automation.
- Promote internal platforms (e.g., Kilombero ‘Yetu, Asikhulume).
✔ Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Monitor and drive continuous improvement in agricultural data management.
- Ensure compliance with Illovo’s policies on SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC).
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic, Environmental, GIS disciplines, or related field.
- A business/commercial qualification is an added advantage.
✔ Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years in managing or developing agricultural business systems.
- Strong agriculture data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of GIS-based systems for land use and grower registration.
- Business acumen with the ability to anticipate and respond to agricultural changes.
