Job Summary

Fema Mining & Drilling Ltd is seeking a Multiskilled Operator (Excavators, Trucks, ADT) to join our team. The selected candidate will undergo practical training and assessment before being confirmed as an operator. The role involves operating heavy mining equipment, performing equipment inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Undergo training and assessment before final selection as an operator.
  • Operate Excavators, Trucks, and ADT safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-start safety checks on equipment before operation.
  • Report equipment faults promptly to the supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding workplace safety.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth mining operations.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent workplace hazards.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secondary School Certificate (CSEE) is an advantage.
  • Valid Tanzania Driver’s License (Class B & D or higher).
  • Must be physically and mentally fit to operate heavy machinery.
  • Must pass a site test and a medical check-up by an authorized medical practitioner.
  • Operator certificate from a recognized technical training school.
  • Experience: 2-3 years or more in mining or construction projects (preferred).
  • Strong commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Must possess NIDA ID or Number and a TIN Number from Tanzania Revenue Authority.
  • Introduction letter from local government and two referee letters.

Additional Requirements

  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in Kiswahili or English (both preferred).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
