Job Summary

Sotta Mining Corporation Limited is seeking a Building Supervisor to oversee and manage construction activities at the Nyanzaga Gold Project. The successful candidate will assist in project execution from design to completion, ensuring adherence to safety policies, building regulations, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Buildings and Infrastructure Manager in executing site construction projects.
Ensure compliance with building processes, procedures, and industry best practices from design to completion.
Coordinate with engineers to enforce quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) practices.
Supervise the construction phase of permanent buildings, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Interpret technical specifications and contracts for contractors.
Monitor construction schedules, provide progress reports, and maintain records.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Diploma – FTC or Degree in Civil Engineering or Building).
Must hold a valid driving license.

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction projects, preferably in the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of construction management, safety policies, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to interpret technical information and liaise effectively with engineers and contractors.
Strong organizational and administrative skills to track project progress.
