Mapinga Premium Foods is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
1. Position: Accountant
Job Purpose:
The Accountant will maintain the General Ledger of the company, including the timely and accurate preparation of the Trial Balance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance Manager in preparing monthly financial statements.
- Perform end-of-period accounting activities such as reconciliations, inventory counting, and revenue accounting.
- Analyze company financial KPIs.
- Prepare and review SKU costing on a monthly basis.
- Manage the Fixed Assets register and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Handle statutory returns (VAT, SDL, PAYE, NSSF, WCF).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and ERP accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- High level of integrity and accountability.
2. Position: Procurement Coordinator
Job Purpose:
The Procurement Coordinator will support sourcing and procurement operations for raw materials needed in potato processing.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential suppliers for raw materials.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and process purchase orders.
- Support negotiations, maintain supplier records, and track shipments.
- Assist in optimizing the supply chain and minimizing lead times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the FMCG or food processing industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and strong organizational skills.
3. Position: Office Admin
Job Purpose:
The Office Admin will handle administrative, HR, and compliance tasks, supporting day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee management.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and maintain employee records.
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team.
- Handle office coordination and travel arrangements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- 1 year of experience in office administration or HR support.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office.
