ADVERTISEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Executive Director of the Buchosa District Council has received the Permit for Alternative Employment from the Secretary General of the Office of the President Public Service Management and Good Governance through a letter with Ref. And. FA.228/613/01/C/041 dated May 21, 2024. Therefore, he welcomes job applications from Tanzanians with qualifications to fill the following positions:

VILLAGE EXECUTIVE GRADE III – TWO (2) POSITIONS: MTENDAJI WA KIJIJI DARAJA LA III

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS.

Applicants must have a Form IV or Form Six education with a diploma/certificate in one of the following fields: Administration, Law, Social Education, Financial Management, Social Development and Arts Science from a College of Local Government Hombolo or any College recognized by the Government.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VILLAGE EXECUTIVE

Accounts Officer and Chief Executive of the village government
To manage the protection and safety of citizens and their property, to be a peacekeeper and administrator of good governance in the village
Coordinating and managing the planning of village development plans
Secretary of all meetings and committees of the village Council;
Secretary of all meetings and committees of the village Council;
Interpreting and Administering Policies, Laws and Procedures;
To prepare information on the implementation of work in his area and to motivate citizens in preparing and implementing strategies to eliminate hunger, poverty and increase wealth production;
The leader of the heads of professional units in the village;
Manage, collect and store all records and documents of the village;
Chairman of the meeting of experts present in the village;
Receive, listen and resolve citizens' complaints and disputes;
Supervise the formulation of village Bylaws; and
He will be responsible to the Chief Executive of the Ward.
Along with other tasks that will be assigned to you by your employer

SALARY

Considering the levels of Government salaries ie TGS B.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and aged between 18 and no more than 45 years, except for those who are employed by the Government;
Applicants should submit a detailed CV with reliable addresses and telephone numbers as well as the names of three reliable referees.
Applicants should attach copies of certificates of Form Four or Six, Education and birth certificate. Applicants who submit "Result Slip", "Statement of Results", "Provisional Results" or" Transcripts will NOT be accepted.
For Applicants who have studied abroad, Fourth or Sixth Form Education, submit confirmation from the Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA).
For applicants who have studied in Universities abroad, they must submit confirmation from the Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU).
Applicants who meet the required qualifications will be called for an interview.
The application letter signed by the Applicant can be written in English or Kiswahili.
Applicants with special needs (special needs/disability) must be classified in their application.
Applicants who submit false information will be dealt with in accordance with the Laws of the State.
Applicants retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
