Brazil Scholarship for Tanzanian Students

The general populace is hereby notified that the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) has revealed the Third Edition of the GCUB International Mobility Program for the academic year 2025/2026. This initiative is open to qualified Tanzanians seeking to pursue Master’s and PhD studies in Brazil. Prospective applicants are strongly advised to apply. Application Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of an upper second-class division (for Master’s applicants).
  2. Hold a Master’s degree (for PhD applicants).
Scholarship Provisions

This is a partial scholarship that covers tuition fees, enrolment fees, and provides a stipend. Applicants must arrange for additional funding to cover other expenses not included in the scholarship. Note that the Government of Tanzania does not provide any loans or grants for those awarded this scholarship.

Required Documents

Applicants must complete the online application and submit the following supporting documents for assessment:

  1. Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts.
  2. A copy of the Birth Certificate.
  3. A valid identification document (ID card or passport).
  4. A recent photograph of the candidate (taken within the last year).
