Job Summary

CRS is seeking two qualified Project Officers to support the SPICES project in Kilimanjaro and Tanga. The role involves rebuilding sustainable farming practices, market linkages, and promoting agroforestry and organic agriculture among smallholder farmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and implementation of project activities as per the implementation plan.
• Monitor project challenges and support partner adjustments to improve performance.
• Collect and analyze project data, prepare reports, and assist with project documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building to local partners.
• Collaborate with buyers and processors to introduce new agricultural business models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or market systems.
• Proficiency in English and Swahili.
• Experience with participatory planning, MS Office tools, and working with NGOs is preferred.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Willing to travel up to 40%
